"For the last few years my friends and I have reunited from our far-flung homes to play a grand tournament of Risk: Lord of the Rings Edition. Given the official title of "Dorkfest" last year, the event was further sactified by the addition of professional-quality custom T-shirts from CustomInk and dubbed "Dorkfest II." The battles were fierce, the tension between us was high, but we found a few minutes on the first night of the reunion to climb to the higest point in town for the sunset. As we stood upon this ancient rock tower, with the benefit of our common garb, ordered just one week earlier and speedily and perfectly produced, we felt insurmountable." - Mithrandir (Sep 29, 2008)

Nice collection. For some reaosn buttons totally eluded my collecting sphere in the 80s. I have a few from the later 80s, an ALF button roughly the size of my head, some Batman comics buttons, and a Simpsons button from 89 that I still sport proudly on my winter jacket. It's funny, in the 70s most buttons were super small, then they went to dinner plate size int he 80s and 90s, and now they're back to small. I wonder if 5 inch button will come back into fashion anytime soon?
