"Each October, Odessa has a day where locals volunteer to go to several different fields, pastures, street sides, etc. and pick up trash. This year, we decided to do this as an office and had our kids come along to teach them a valuable lesson as well. We are in the middle of West Texas where the oilfield is in a giant boom and we have horrible traffic and rigs going up everywhere you turn. More traffic equals more trash so this day is a nice break from the muck...but would could use it more than once a year!"
