Our team trained for 8 weeks for this race and we collectively finished the race together. "Nick, the person who was turning 60, owns a wiener dog, and, well on Fathers Day was trying on funny hats in a shop at Put in Bay in Ohio, when his significant other, Karen, asked him to pose for a picture in a silly hot dog hat, while holding his hot dog dog (Dachschund) Nitro. At his request, his significant other, Karen, promised not to post the picture to Fbook, which she did not do, as promised, she made T-shirts instead, wink wink.Karen ordered the shirts, had them shipped to her so she could see them then she re-shipped them on to Phoenix Arizona to Nick's sister, where they were awaiting Nick and Karen's arrival on the morning of his actual Birthday, November 17th; his 60th. Each of us snuck away for a moment, telling Nick we had a surprise for him and we put our shirts on, walked out into the room where he was and presented him with his shirt. He was a bit surprised you might say... We had a toast of sparkling juice to honor his 60 years, then we loaded up an overnight bag and flew out 2 hours later to Las Vegas Nevada to celebrate his birthday in style. We are pictured in front of Pink's Hot Dog Stand wearing our "HOT DOG Look who's 60!" shirts. We received lots of attention on the way to the airport, in the airport and on the plane, as well as in Vegas. Lots of laughs, memories and fun was had by all. It made for quite a memorable birthday. Everyone signed the back of Nick's shirt, so, he now has it as a wonderful memory, forever! Thank you Custom Ink, you are amazing. You were as excited as I was about this design when i was making it. You made it a total blast, thank you for that. I have told everyone I know about how awesome you were to me, and how much fun this project was.
