"This was taken yesterday at the 24th Annual Vegetarian Chili Cook-Off in Austin, TX. Twenty-two teams prepared vegan chili and I was fortunate to be invited to be one of the judges of the competition. It was a wonderful day and this shirt (along with the others I ordered - which friends were wearing) were a big hit among the mostly-veg crowd. Funnel Cake has been a bit of vegan legend until this day. It tasted exactly like it's originally counterpart, and brought me right back to my local county fair days as a kid. "My daughter, Lindsy, wanted to do a 10k (10,000 meter) run when I visited her in Austin. None was available on the dates we had so we created a "Father and Daughter 10,000 meter Whatever Run" which was just for the two of us. Designed the tee (amazing job CustomInk), created goodie bags, and had a cash prize for the top female finisher (hey, with only 2 runners and Lindsy being the only female she was a sure thing to win). It was a great run around Town Lake and actually ended up being 7.5 miles instead of the projected 6.2. "This is a photo of our March for Babies Team at the March of Dimes event in Austin, TX. Our team name is "River's Friends". River is my son who was born at 28 weeks gestation. He weighed only 3lbs 3oz and spent 9 weeks in NICU. We have participated in the March for Babies the past two years by raising money to fund research in the area of premature birth. We plan to participate every year from now on since this cause is so near and dear to our hearts. We will definately be using Custom Ink for our t-shirts from now on!"
