"My family and I took part in a kickball tournament in support of brain cancer research. My father passed away seven years ago from brain cancer so we do whatever we can as a family to support others who are going through the same situation. We love to spend time together as a family and had a blast at the Kick for a Cure Kickball Tournament! "

Brain Cancer 5K Post Race Photo by PostRace - 4 months ago

Brain Cancer 5 K Post Race Photo T-Shirt Photo

"This was taken at the end of my first 5K on April 12, 2014. I was diagnosed with Brain Cancer last November (2013), had surgery in December and was cleared to exercise on March 10, 2014. My beloved hockey is the one thing I was told I couldn't do, so my friend Debbie designed these shirts. The 5K benefited UCLA's oncology research department (which is where I'm receiving treatment). I only had 1 month to train (and I'd been inactive for 4 months), but I pushed through an 8 week 5K trainer in 4 weeks. I raised over $12,000 for brain cancer research."

Glioblastoma Awareness...Team Kathy! T-Shirt Photo

"We did a 5k in honor of my sister, Kathy, who has brain cancer. Specifically, we were walking Glioblastoma Awareness, a stage IV type of brain tumor. We need to raise awareness for this awful, not very well-known type of cancer. My sister is someone very special and means something to every single person in this photo!"

"We lost my dear, sweet sister-in-law Maureen in April 2009. She lost her battle to a very aggressive brain cancer. Maureen and I were great friends, ever since she met and married my only brother, Frank. Every year family and friends gather and we do a Walk of Hope, so that no one else loses a loved one to this terrible disease. This our 2013 photo from our Walk of Hope. "
