"The "Remembering Alex" can koozies were introduced at Parrot Palooza 2010 held at Bird Paradise in Burlington NJ, a 3 day event held from Friday, October 22nd to Sunday, October 24th. This event was held to raise funds for The Alex Foundation. The goal of The Alex Foundation is to support research that will expand the base of knowledge establishing the cognitive and communicative abilities of parrots as intelligent beings. These findings will be used to encourage the responsible ownership of parrots, conservation and preservation of parrots in the wild, and veterinary research into the psychological diseases and care of these birds. Through these efforts The Alex Foundation, and the memory of Alex, will live on and will accomplish its mission to improve the lives of all parrots worldwide. "This is photo of our Relay for Life team for 2008. It is a walk for the American Cancer Society. The relay took place at Great River Medical Center's lake walkway in Burlington, Iowa on August 1 & 2. This was our second year in a row working with CustomInk. And we are always getting rave reviews about our team shirts. We are overly satisfied with customInk and will continue doing business as long as they exist.
