"This photograph was taken five minutes before the first wave of runners left the starting point for the Maple Grove Run/Walk for Darfur on May 30, 2009, a 3.7K track around Rice Lake behind Maple Grove Evangelical Church. Because of the support of over 250 individuals and companies, we were able to raise over $8,200 to be given to the American Refugee Committee in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
