"This was taken yesterday at the 24th Annual Vegetarian Chili Cook-Off in Austin, TX. Twenty-two teams prepared vegan chili and I was fortunate to be invited to be one of the judges of the competition. It was a wonderful day and this shirt (along with the others I ordered - which friends were wearing) were a big hit among the mostly-veg crowd. Funnel Cake has been a bit of vegan legend until this day. It tasted exactly like it's originally counterpart, and brought me right back to my local county fair days as a kid. "This is our Lambda Chi Alpha chapter at the University of Richmond, VA for our national philanthropy event, Watermelon Bash in October of this year. The event consisted of 13 teams participating in watermelon relay, seed spitting competition, watermelon throw, watermelon decorating, and watermelon bashing. All watermelons were donated to our chapter since they are going out of season. We raised over $500 and many non-perishable goods that all went to Central Virginia's FeedMore organization.
