"Our first (but not our last) Buddy Walk in Central Park NYC for the inclusion and acceptance of Down Syndrome people. My 9 month old granddaughter Katelynn was born with Down Syndrome and she has become our SUNSHINE, no matter how hard the day has been she will light it up, so we united friends and family to celebrate her. "My family walked in the March of Dimes Walk for Babies on May 15, 2011. This was my third year walking but this year we walked in memory of my granddaughter Leila Jade who was born at 25 2/7 weeks weighing 1lb 12.3 ozs. She was a great child even with all her disabilities but on 10/10/10 she completed her mission here on earth and went to heaven. We miss her so but know she is now running, singing, and playing with all the other children in heaven. Thanks to customink I designed a shirt in her memory. We wore them proudly.
