"This was the first year of the Hike/Walk for Marsha Kannapel. She suffered her lifetime from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, anxiety and depression. She felt the stigma of mental illness, but all we saw was a golden woman who gave up everything she had for her son, Mason. We started this foundation to pay tribute to a wonderful woman, and show that you are never alone in your suffering. "
"We made t-shirts to celebrate Nana's 70th birthday (green for the boys and pink for the girls). The kids loved having their names and ages on the back of their shirts; even Nana didn't mind! We celebrated her birthday with a hike in NH's White Mountains and a night in an AMC hut. The colors made it difficult to lose the kids and they loved wearing them for the occasion! The front had a picture of a tree and mountains with the captions: "We are hiking for Nana" and "Est. 1941". "
"Aloha! The band and choir are doing well in Hawaii! Thursday was an exciting day - we began with an incredible hike to Diamond Head followed by rehearsals. We were saddened by the devastation in Japan because of the earthquake, and were on watch in our hotel due to tsunami warnings. We are all doing well, despite a few hours of missed sleep from the hotel alarms sounding in warning for a possible tsunami. Today begins the work portion of the trip. We have clinics, followed by a luau and competition Saturday, and competitions continue on Sunday. We look forward to bringing home a few trophies on Monday!"
"This photo was taken August 2010 on top of Sugar Loaf Mountain in Marquette, MI. Our family has climbed this mountain almost every summer for over 20 years! The photo includes my 2 sisters, my 2 brothers (1 couldn't come), my sister-in-law, baby niece, and my parents. CustomInk helped us tremendously in making these amazing shirts (which I designed myself ;) The shirts include the Marquette lighthouse shining out to the text "Marquette 2010." On the back is a bonfire with all of our names forming in the smoke."
"The Grand Canyon Rim to Rim to Rim Challenge is a two day hike. The first day we hike from the South rim to the North Rim 22.7 miles with 10,000+ feet of elevation change. After a nights rest we hike back the next day. A total trip of 46.3 miles and over 20,000 feet of elevation change. Everyone that makes it both ways earns an Awesome CustomInk T-shirt that says they Survived the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim to Rim. I choose to use an athletic shirt with wicking capabilities and everyone loves them."
"This is 5 of the 6 Scouts and 4 adults who proudly wore their new commemorative Badger Sports wicking t-shirt on our 50 Miler hike this year. This picture was taken 3 days and 22 miles into the 6 day hike and was taken at an old abandoned tungsten mine in the Okanogan National Forest in Washington State."
