"23 of us got together and walked the 5K at the Fargo Marathon In Memory of Liz and Terry. Liz lost her battle to cancer 5 years ago and Terry lost his 7 months ago. We raised money for the American Cancer Society in their memory- thank you CustomInk for your donation. Liz's daughter came up with the design and I was amazed at how well CustomInk was able to transfer the design on to the t-shirts. Everyone loved our shirts- you all made the experience a great one! "My husband was partially paralyzed in a car accident just over a year ago, and spent a total of five months in inpatient rehabilitation learning to walk again. The day after he was discharged from the second stint, we all participated in a 12K race in Spokane, Washington; he wheeled himself most of the way in his wheelchair, then stood up and walked the last 100 feet in his braces. Our shirts are neon green to match his "lightning legs," with a photo of his truck after the accident, the accident date and the race date."

The rain cooperated and held off long enough for us to release 20 white balloons in memory of our family members in Heaven....was absolutely awesome!
