Run for your Lungs! by Team MJC! - 6 months ago
"My dad, Michael J Curran, passed away from lung cancer on December 19th, 2012. He lost the battle, but he inspired my brother and I to quit smoking, which led us on our path to running 5k, 10k, and even a half marathon. We were able to honor my dad by getting family and friends together to participate in the Chicago Lung Run. Custom ink did a terrific job on our shirts, which Dad would have loved! "
"Mother's Memories" by Rena Meredith - 6 months ago
"This is our team that walked in the ,"Walk to End Alzheimer's " in Memphis, TN. I lost my Mother in January, 2013 to this disease. This was our first walk and I am sure our shirts helped us to win the "Family Spirit Award" trophy. This is not our whole team, because we were 60 purple shirts strong. Thank you for your amazing service and product! It was an honor to walk for my Mother wearing our great purple shirts!"
TEAM MARTHA by SUE FILLMORE - 6 months ago
"Martha is our co-worker. She has worked in the lab for over 30 years and was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, so our team wanted her to know that we are standing with her as she goes through this fight. The entire process with CustomInk was fantastic. They were extremely easy to work with and everyone loved the shirts when they came in. "
Team JVT - Moving for Melanoma DE 2013 by Steph Cas - 6 months ago
"Jessica Tyrol lost her battle with melanoma on May 15, 2012. She was diagnosed with melanoma in October 2011, and less than eight months later, she was taken from us. Melanoma is one of the most dangerous types of skin cancers and is the leading cause of death of all skin diseases. Please help us contribute to the Melanoma Research Foundation so that we can conquer this terrible and deadly disease. If you would like to learn more about melanoma, please visit www.melanoma.org and always remember to examine your skin and have regular checkups with your dermatologist. Jess was an amazing daughter, sister, and friend. We miss her so much and think of her everyday. We know she is watching over us and looking down on us each day. For the second year in a row we got a team together to participate in the Moving for Melanoma 5k in Delaware. Over 2012 and 2013 our team has raised over $44,000 to hopefully one day beat this horrible disease. This is a picture of the 2013 team. "
Perry Hill Farm Rememberance T-Shirts by Perry Hill Farm Remembrance T-Shirt - 6 months ago
"Thank you so much CustomInk! You were always there to help me and are extremely friendly, helpful, and patient. Your website was easy to use and made making shirts an amazing experience. Being able to create t-shirts for all of my fellow barn members to wear on this day of remembrance was very helpful. The day was sad but the t-shirts were a great way to bring us all together as one as we remembered the 14 wonderful horses that lost there lives on September 6th due to a tragic fire. The shirts were way more than anyone expected and they will always hold a special place in our drawers. Thanks again! I'm already brainstorming ideas for other t-shirt designs in the future. :) P.S. The pony in the pictures name is Buddy and he was one of the 8 surviving ponies, and the bird that snuck in the picture is Emmett."
Mitochondrial Walk by Emily's Mitostompers - 6 months ago
"My family attended the Energy for Life Walk in Memory of my little girl that passed away in 2001 from a Mitochondrial Disease. This event was on September 14 in Columbus, Ga. My experience with Custom Ink was very pleasant. I needed my shirts before the walk and was very shocked that they helped me to pull this off. Thanks so much it. "
The Color Run Portland Team Colors for Leo by Rachel COle - 6 months ago
"This is our team Colors for Leo, in honor of Leo Forrest. We all did The Color Run - Portland on September 7, which would have been Leo's 6th birthday. As the team captain, my husband and I asked the the team (minus Leo's family) very las minute-- if they wanted to get shirts to wear as a surprise for the family. We presented them with the shirts to wear the morning of the race. This is the before and after photo, wearing our shirts that CustomInk printed. I want to thank CustomInk and everyone involved in helping get us the shirts in a fast timely manner, and helping honor Leo that day. "
Walk for Mom by Becky DeJonker - 6 months ago
"This is the group photo we took at the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance Walk/Run. Most of the group is wearing the shirts that we ordered from you guys, but a few are just wearing the MOCA shirts since I had to place the order without waiting to get feedback from everyone on whether or not they wanted shirts (we found out about the walk a little later than I would have liked to!) We walked in memory of my Mom, who passed away this July from ovarian cancer. We absolutely love the shirts that we wore in her memory."
MIGHTY MAC FOR MIKE by LISA JOHNSON - 6 months ago
"Working with Custom Ink on our project was a no-brainer. The ease of designing a professionally printed t-shirt was fun and it was exciting to see what we could accomplish on our own with Custom Ink's web tools. This group pictured rallied together to honor my brother-in-law, Michael Johnson, who battled brain cancer for a short 5 months. Mike invited my family to join him each year for the 5 mile hike across the Mackinac Bridge that connects the upper and lower peninsulas of Michigan. The only day walkers are allowed on the bridge is Labor Day. This year was our 17th year walking (1st year in honoring Mike and 2nd year walking without him). It was a bittersweet time but one of excitement because before he passed away my daughters were able to tell him about this event and sharing that news along with some tears, we know that he knew about this and was proud. We are looking forward to designing the 2nd Annual Mighty Mac for Mike t-shirt for next Labor Day. "
