" All the girls in this photo have been participating in the annual Logger's Day event held at Nordman, Idaho for nearly 10 years. The events include a Cross-cut competition, Axe throw, Stock Saw and Tug-of-war. We all became friends while working for the Forest Service as wildland firefighters, so naturally this competition is right up our alley! The girl on the far left, Billie Washburn, was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer, and the fact that she is still willing and able to participate, although going through a battery of treatments, is a true testament to her strength and determination to continue to live life through such a difficult time. We paid tribute to her and another friend battling ovarian cancer on the back of our shirts with a small ribbon embedded with their initials. This is our second time using Custom Ink to develop our team T-shirts. Our experience has been nothing but fantastic, and plan on using Custom Ink for our team shirts until we are too old and crippled up to participate! "
