"Believe it or not, East Africa has a growing ultimate frisbee scene. For the past 4 years, Nairobi Ultimate has hosted a beach ultimate tournament on the Kenyan coast. We bring together teams from Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, South Sudan, and several regions in Kenya for 2 fun-filled days of disc. Originally we were buying locally made t-shirts that would fall apart before the tournament ended, but then we found CustomInk. "Our non-profit is currently working towards building the first secondary school in Lenana Kenya. We believe that these children will change and transform their village through the power of education. In this picture is one of the students, Ian, wearing our shirt and representing our cause. The reason we have "Eddo&Shawn&John&me" is because we are all a team (Eddo, Shawn, and John are the staff members of the supply). This shirt represents that we are all fighting for education! "Coins for Change collected coins from schools all over the world to purchase and distribute goats and cows to the Maasai in Amboseli Kenya; due to the recent droughts that killed over 90% of their herds. "The red t-shirt in the photo was one of the 100 designed and ordered through CustomInk to raise money for a volunteer trip to Kenya during the summer of 2006. With the help of t-shirt sales, I did construction work on Huruma Centre, an orphanage in Kenya. It was an incredible experience and I believe I'm Peace Corps bound!"
