"This is a photo of our March for Babies Team at the March of Dimes event in Austin, TX. Our team name is "River's Friends". River is my son who was born at 28 weeks gestation. He weighed only 3lbs 3oz and spent 9 weeks in NICU. We have participated in the March for Babies the past two years by raising money to fund research in the area of premature birth. "This past weekend we were "Marching for Miracles" at the Riverside, California March for Babies walk. Our daughters, Miley and Irelyn, were born 11 weeks premature and faced a series of battles in their first few months of life including brain bleeds, infections, breathing and feeding problems. We are so thankful for the March of Dimes for their help in creating the breathing treatments our daughters needed to survive. We are the Ambassador Family for the March of Dimes in our area and we will always do our part to help this great organization.
