"On November 25, 2009 I gave birth prematurely to my son Hayden at 22 weeks due to a incompetent cervix. Because Hayden was born too soon, he was not able to survive. Through this tragic event, I wanted nothing more than to do what I could to prevent this from happening again to other expecting mothers. Therefore, I put together a March of Dimes team to raise money for research. My team had over 50 walkers including children; and together, we raised over $9,000!
