Cancer, Remember these faces,We will not let you win!!!! by Relay For Life~Team 5 O'clock Somewhere - about 1 year ago

Cancer, Remember These Faces,We Will Not Let You Win!!!! T-Shirt Photo

"This photo was taken at our event,The Poolesville Relay For Life. I started my team in March of this year after the loss of my uncle to lung cancer. It started as a little family team of five, but as word spread of what we were doing we quickly grew. Mainly of young teen, we were now a team of 18. I took on the role of setting up fundraisers and shuttling everyone to and from as many of these kids wanted so badly to be a part of this cause but for one reason or another their parents couldn't help. I decided to reward the whole team for all their hard work with our custom made shirts from CustomInk with our saying on the back. The shirts were a HUGE HIT!! The whole team Loved them as did many other Relay Members and I have been asked to order more so that others can have one too! CustomInk, ya'll ROCK!!"

"The Run For Life 5K came about as a project for a group of juniors at Coppell High School. All of the money raised went toward the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in honor of our dear friend Jonah, who committed suicide back in October 2012. The tshirts we created theough CustomInk were a huge part of the fundraiser. Each one of the 200 runners received a tshirt in memory of the event and who it was for, Jonah."

Team Ashlee is a group of over 150 family and friends that came together for a bar stroll through Federal Hill and ending at Camden Yards, home of the Baltimore Orioles. This event took place on 6/2/13 which was Ashlee's birthday and National Cancer Survivors Day. Boston AIDS 5K Team! by Mike's Picks 2013 - about 1 year ago

Boston Aids 5 K Team! T-Shirt Photo

"This is the second year we put together a team to run the AIDS 5K Run in Boston. We run in honor of Michael, who passed away from HIV in 2000. The team name, Mike's Picks, is in honor of the yearly mixed tapes he made and shared with his two daughters. We wanted to continue this tradition for him by having new "picks" each year to run to. Our Custom Ink shirts always have the tape cassette to remind us of the years he was with us. This is the second year we've used Custom Ink to unite in red! "

Team Ari Runs 13.1 Miles for Active Minds and Ari Johnson by Emily Lerman - about 1 year ago

Team Ari Runs 13.1 Miles For Active Minds And Ari Johnson T-Shirt Photo

"This photo of Team Ari was taken at the finish line, after we completed the ODDyssey Half Marathon in Philadelphia, PA on June 9th, 2013. Team Ari was formed after our dear friend, Ari Johnson, committed suicide this past February. No one even knew he was struggling. Ari's friends and family decided to turn this tragedy into action by running in his honor (Ari was a huge sports fan, so a run seemed particularly fitting) and raising money for Active Minds, a suicide prevention and mental health awareness organization that aims to fight the stigma associated with mental illness and encourage help-seeking. In less than 3 months, we raised $62,824 for this organization in Ari's name. Our hope is that this money will ensure that no one else has to experience the tremendous loss we did, and no one struggling has to struggle alone. As for CustomInk, you were amazing to work with throughout this process! Your staff was so friendly and genuinely interested in our event and the cause we were running for. Because we had people joining our team up until the last minute, I had to repeatedly call back and change the numbers on the order, and you could not have been more patient and helpful every time. It was truly a fantastic experience working with you guys and I will DEFINITELY be using CustomInk in the future, as Team Ari intends to make this run an annual event! THANK YOU!"

Walking For Pediatric Brain Cancer Awareness T-Shirt Photo

"This picture is about 1/3 of the team that we assembeled to participate in the 2013 6th Annual Race for Grace at Norwin High School in Norwin, PA. Our family and friends walked in memory of my 6 year old daughter Alyson who lost her courageous battle with DIPG last November. The race was named after another little girl that lost her battle with the same terrible cancer 6 years earlier. The annual race raised funds to support families of children afflicted with brain cancer as well as raises money to support much needed research in this underfunded area."
