got sfm? by U.S. Army - Baylor University Graduate Program in Nutrition - 9 months ago

Got Sfm? T-Shirt Photo

"The Graduate Program in Nutrition, is based out of Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. We are all second lieutenants going to school to get our Masters in Nutrition. We have PT every Thursday morning and have designed these shirt to wear for those days. On the front of the shirt, it reads "got sfm?" The 'sfm' stands for small frequent meals. As nutrition students studying to be military dietitians, we hear this saying all the time! It is great to live by in helping to promote a healthy lifestyle. Then, on the back of the shirt it reads "Diet-titan" across the top. This is what we started calling ourselves in the beginning of the program and it stuck! For our program, we have to fit 2 years of graduate school in to about 8 months. It is tough, but very rewarding. These t-shirts help to add a little excitement in to our program, and it also gets people to ask the question, "What's sfm?" This then gives us the opportunity to share our knowledge with others. Overall, the entire process of designing the shirts, having them made and receiving them was great! All of the employees I talked to over the phone always sounded so happy! This t-shirt will serve as a great memory to the start of our military careers as the GPN class of 2014. We will all be splitting up to our own duty stations, and it will be nice to look back at this t-shirt and remember all of the amazing memories we were able to share with each other as we all grew over the course of the program. Our Super Hero In Finally Home!! by Proud Sister - 9 months ago

Our Super Hero In Finally Home!! T-Shirt Photo

"The shirts we did were for my sister-in-law and my nephews to wear for when my brother returned home from Afghanistan (he was gone for 7 months serving our country and returned home this past Sunday). They obviously missed him like crazy (as did the rest of my family). My nephews wore the shirts when they greeted him off the bus. My nephews LOVE the Avengers and call my brother Iron Man. He really is everyone's super hero!! Thanks to CustomInk (particularly Carly and Amanda M.) for being so helpful and so easy to work with! From what I understand the shirts were a HUGE hit!! "

"My friend Al is leaving to go into the Air Force next week, so to show our support we made tshirts for him. The back of the shirts say "We love you, Al". We will miss him very much but the shirts and the party definitely helped us wish him good luck and show him how much we love him!"

The Smokin Joe Crew by Smokin Joe's Boys - 10 months ago

The Smokin Joe Crew T-Shirt Photo

"These shirts were part of a special reunion we had in late May for our beloved Captain who commanded our submarine from 1967-1969, and led us to two consecutive efficiency awards during his tenure. His motto was "It only costs a little more to go first class", but was amended to "It only costs a NICKEL more to go first class" by a shipmate, and the latter stuck. This reunion was a very uplifting experience for the Captain, who had lost his wife in August 2012. You may crop out the two members sans the proper shirts."

"We are currently deployed overseas with the US Army on a LCU 2000 watercraft. At sea there can be a lot of down time where the 4 of us took up to playing Call of Duty Zombies video game. We came up with this name for our little team and naturally we needed T-shirts. Our local MWR at our port puts on monthly "Zombie" tournaments and the T-shirts have been a huge hit. "

DARKSIDE by DARKSIDE - 10 months ago

Darkside T-Shirt Photo

"This is the Darkside Convoy Escort Team in Afghanistan. My team has one of the most dangerous missions here and have come together like a family. We finally had a day to rest so it was a good time to get the team together to pose for some pics to send to our families and friends who we have not seen in the last 6 months and to show off the shirts. The shirts are a way that we express our feelings toward the CET and our mission. We are all proud to serve this great nation. CustomInk did such a great job that the other CETs have ordered shirts as well. They look fantastic but they will never be as good as DARKSIDE. Thank you CustomInk."

Kids getting their "briefing" by 2-35 Infantry Battalion, Schofield Barracks, HI - 10 months ago

Kids Getting Their "Briefing" T-Shirt Photo

"We ordered these t-shirts to help fundraise for our battalion ball, and to also commemorate a day of fun for the children of our service members. The event gave the kids a chance to see all the Army equipment their parent's use and to come together and enjoy time as a unit with a water balloon war, night-vision experience, climbing in and out of vehicles and static displays of weapons. Our "Keiki Day" (Keiki is "child" in Hawaiian) took place at the Battalion area, C Quad, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii."
