Carol's Angels! T-Shirt Photo

"In January, 2002 our mom, Carol Turner, passed away from the disease ALS--also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. This Saturday the whole family came together to walk in the Austin Walk to Defeat ALS in her memory. Our shirts from Custom Ink were so beautiful and we felt so proud wearing them at the walk and representing Carol and her memory. The Walk was a huge success and the ALS association raised $234,000 to benefit ALS research! We were so happy to be a part of it!"

Miss Joan's Heroes by Joanna - 7 months ago

Miss Joan's Heroes T-Shirt Photo

"We created a team called Miss Joan's Heroes to run and walk in the Four Seasons Parkway Run in Philadelphia. The event benefits pediatric cancer research and survivorship at an amazing place, The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Our team runs in honor and loving memory of my mom, Joan, who was a teacher at CHOP. She taught the children who were in the hospital long term. Her teaching enabled them to keep up with their education so they could stay in the same grade level when they returned to school. She privately and courageously battled cancer while teaching her young students fighting the same disease. She was a phenomenal woman who touched and positively impacted the lives of so many."

DOWN IN THE CANYON & OVER THE HILL by Vaught Family Vacation 2013 for Mama - 7 months ago

Down In The Canyon & Over The Hill T-Shirt Photo

"Our Mama had always wanted to visit the Grand Canyon, ever since she was a little girl growing up in Oregon and Oklahoma. My brother and two sisters were bequeathed a small amount of money from a great aunt, so we decided to use part of that to go on a family vacation, and chose the Grand Canyon. We took our Mama, of course, and made sure she didn't have to pay for ANYTHING on the entire week-long trip! We arrived in Flagstaff on Mother's Day and rented a beautiful, huge house. We not only saw the Grand Canyon, but Sedona, The Painted Desert, and the Meteor Site. Mama said it was her dream come true, and a memory she'd forever cherish! We were all so glad we were able to do something that made her so happy - she's a wonderful Mama and deserved it, and much more!"
