"This picture was taken in May 2011 for the National Kidney Foundation Kidney Walk. This was our first year as Team Kidney Bean and we are made up of family and friends from Michigan and Alabama. We walk in honor of Jack Welch, a beloved father, husband, and dear friend to all of us that we sadly lost to kidney failure. Even though it was raining the day of the walk we could feel his warmth from above. Working with CustomInk was awesome, I have never had such wonderful customer service and they even made a donation to our teams cause. I recommend them to everyone and I promise I will be back to get started on our 2012 shirts very soon!"

The walk was held 9/19/09 at Whitney Park in St. Cloud MN. I have had a kidney transplant, a pancreas transplant and quadruple bypass surgery combined with a valve replacement for my heart. Before all of that I had Juvenile diabetes since 1965. (I tried to load the complete team, but it told me it was too large)"
