"Every year when my family goes on vacation to the Outer Banks, North Carolina, we go on a 30 mile bike ride and stop at our favorite restaurant for lunch. This year, my mom and I decided to amp it up by surprising everyone with athletic shirts made through CustomInk with a family logo (that I designed) in complementary colors for the guys and the girls. Several people stopped us on the ride and asked if we were a cycling team - Nope! Just an overly enthusiastic family! "Food4KidsNC is a nonprofit organization started by Zoe (14 yrs) and Jake (13 yrs) Johnson to help fight hunger in North Carolina. These two kids convinced more than 60 volunteers to help them bag meals for the elderly over the course of 9 hours on a weekend! We bought Custom Ink tshirts to give to all of the volunteers, to help us create a sense of team work and camaraderie. It was a huge success!"
"These photographs were taken at "The Shop" in North Carolina, the weekend after our wedding. This shirt was created for my wedding and as a gift for my husband and our friends. My husband had taken the last remaining picture of these two Marine Corps Explosive Ordinance Technicians (EOD TECHS) during their last deployment. They were made to remember these men and their brothers who made the ultimate sacrifice so that others may live and they are always with us. On the right sleeve it has EJ "Sinner" Pate Jr and a skull and crossbombs which shows his adventurous side, and on the left sleeve it has Dan "Xtreme" Patron and a dirt bike, which was a big passion of his. In the front it has the Master EOD Badge and a yellow ribbon of remembrance, but in true EOD fashion they have to show their goofy personalities by wearing bomb suits during the summer, surrounded by bombs, robots, and armored vehicles. My experience working with customink was something i was very, very satisified with. They addressed all my concerns and the sanctity of having things the names, the picture, the remembrance with respect. They couldn't have helped my creation come alive as it did in the shirt. "

"This was the first time the Marshall Family ever had a family vacation and we went to Waves NC (Outer Banks). Little did we know at the time that in a few weeks after our vacation, Waves would be hit hard by Hurricane Irene! I made these t-shirts to surprise the family and with a photographer to take a family portrait. The back of our t-shirt have a similar logo to the show Survivor and we had “OBX 2011” inside the logo and” Marshall Family Vacation” over the logo. On the front I had August 2011, a waves logo, and Waves, NC under that. Thanks to CustomInk for making that possible! The shirts where fun to create and to give to my family!"
