As a patient with Crohn's Disease (for which there is no cure) , this cause is incredibly important to me, and thus I credit CustomInk for coming through with my design for the winning t-shirt this year! "This photo is from the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Raleigh, NC on June 12th. Our team, the "Cureminators", raised over $2000 for breast cancer research in memory of my Mom and my husband's Mom who have both lost their battles with breast cancer in the past few years. Our teammates are friends from all over who supported us through the difficult times we've had, and it was amazing to get together for a celebration of life like this one. "This was my first year participating in the Triangle March For Babies walk in our hometown of Durham, NC. I wanted to form a team of family and friends to walk in honor of my daughter Gabriella Skye who was born prematurely at 26 weeks gestation on 11-17-09.
