"I am the 7th child of nine siblings. In 2010 we lost our oldest brother, David, to kidney cancer. To honor his memory most of David's siblings, a brother in law, sister in law, nieces and nephews run/walk the "I am Somebody 5K" which support the Kidney Cancer Association. It's a great way for our family to keep David's memory alive and support a great cause. This year's 5K was held on what would have been David's 53rd birthday. Happy Birthday David!!"

"Larissa's Crew made it to the top March 25th, 2012 at the 26th annual Big Climb for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
With red faces and big smiles, we trudged up 69 stories (1311 steps) of the Columbia Tower in Seattle.
Our times ranged from 11 minutes, 24 seconds up to 25 minutes for Larissa herself who is still recovering from a bone marrow transplant she had last year.
Our team also raised over $14,000 for Leukemia research & education!
It was a hugely positive experience, everyone encouraging and smiling and laughing. What a rush!"

"We had a team Christmas party and we wrapped the shirts up for the boys to unwrap them all together. They were all surprised and happy one of the boys slept in his shirt that night. We had to start up from scratch the old coach did not want the team only a few players so all parents kept the team together and we are trying to do fund raiser for equipment. "Ironman AZ is an endurance triathlon in Tempe, AZ. It consists of a 2.4 mile swim in the Tempe Town Lake, followed by a 112 mile bike ride in the desert, and ending with a 26.2 (marathon) run around the Tempe area with spectators galore. Lisa (Sully) Sullivan did the event and her crew cheered her on to the end after 12:24 minutes! It was a glorius day of stamina, determination and perseverence. The shirts allowed Lisa to find her crew all day long! Boy did I look forward to the Orange Crush! "
"My brother ran the NY Marathon and my family wore these shirts that said "Let's Go Matt" with a photo of our family dog wearing one of his metals from one of his races. We stood at the front line at Marathon to see him run and he was able to catch a glimpse of us all in our shirts as he ran by.

"I made shirts for my buddy's bachelor party. It was Halloween weekend in Baltimore. This is a shot of us "tebowing" at the Hooters in Fredericksburg, VA on the way journey back home to Richmond, VA. Orange and black seemed appropriate given Halloween and Baltimore Orioles colors, and the "safety orange" helped us find each other, even in dark places!

"This picture is from our Lars-a-Palooza benefit event we threw for my friend Lars who is battling through his second round of leukemia. It ended up being an amazing night with around 300 people attending and our orange Lars-a-Palooza shirts were a hit! We all put our fists in the air since the caption on the back of the shirts reads "Fighting for a true warrior". The best part of the night was that Lars was able to make it to the event since he was feeling a lot better in recent days and he is the 4th person from the left. About 15 of us ended up shaving our heads later in the evening to match him and it was on overall unforgettable night for a great guy and greater friend!"
