"This was taken in at the West Duwamish Greenbelt in West Seattle on Saturday, April 21 as part of celebrating Earth Month. Young adults from EarthCorps, pictured here, led 600 community volunteers on this sunny afternoon restoring the greenbelt by removing invasive plants and mulching. We gave away t-shirts to our first hundred volunteers, sharing the message "Do something good for the earth this April". "This is the second set of t-shirts we've ordered from customink. We use them as a fund raising merchandise and passive marketing tool - getting our logo on people's chests is a great way of identifying supporters and keeping our brand in people's faces. We call them our 'hero' shirts - as they do have a certain superhero aesthetic about them.
