"Every year when my family goes on vacation to the Outer Banks, North Carolina, we go on a 30 mile bike ride and stop at our favorite restaurant for lunch. This year, my mom and I decided to amp it up by surprising everyone with athletic shirts made through CustomInk with a family logo (that I designed) in complementary colors for the guys and the girls. Several people stopped us on the ride and asked if we were a cycling team - Nope! Just an overly enthusiastic family! "This year we decided to celebrate our 35th Anniversary with all of our family in the Outer Banks. The picture was taken on the ferry to Ocracoke and the sweatshirts were needed on that brisk day.. "This was the first time the Marshall Family ever had a family vacation and we went to Waves NC (Outer Banks). Little did we know at the time that in a few weeks after our vacation, Waves would be hit hard by Hurricane Irene! I made these t-shirts to surprise the family and with a photographer to take a family portrait. The back of our t-shirt have a similar logo to the show Survivor and we had “OBX 2011” inside the logo and” Marshall Family Vacation” over the logo. On the front I had August 2011, a waves logo, and Waves, NC under that. Thanks to CustomInk for making that possible! The shirts where fun to create and to give to my family!"

"This is all Grandma and Grandpa's children and grandchildren. We went to the Outer Banks in NC we were standing on our balcony with our matching shirts on and people were bike riding by and they saw us, a lady stopped her whole family (about 20 people) from bike riding to come up and take a picture of us!
