"The Student Organization of Anatomy & Physiology (SOAP) at West Broward High School held a fundraising awareness campaign for early detection of breast cancer. We sold customink shirts for the month of October (219 total shirts) to students, faculty, staff, and parents. The picture took place OCtober 25th in the school's courtyard at 7:15 a.m. with a few of the students, faculty, and staff members that were present at that time. "This photo was taken on Feb.21 in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. A group of 25 friends and family went to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary. On the second day, we told my parents that we are all to meet for lunch at the buffet by the beach at noon.Little did they know that we were all back at the rooms putting on the shirts for the big surprise. We all boarded the the trolley and headed for the buffet.As we walked singing, I handed Mom & Dad their shirts, the tears started to flow. During the next week, many people came up to Mom & Dad to congratulate them. The front says "50th Anniversary" and the back says "Winston and Lucy's 50th" with a palm tree in the middle (see insert).
