"On April 2, 2011 the DC/VA Muscular Dystrophy Assn. held its annual Muscle Walk @ George Mason University . The event is a culmination of the the annual drive to raise funds for research to finds cures for the many neuromuscular diseases. Our grandson, who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, is our motivation to raise as much money as we can to one day see him, as well as many other afflicted children, walk again. We hope & pray every day for a cure! "

"This photo was taken at the Garden City Race for a Cure on April 2, 2011. The race raised 17,000 dollars in an effort to fight lung cancer. Team Murphy ran the race in honor of their stepmother, Alison Murphy who has been battling lung cancer. We found the race last minute and knew we wanted to have custom shirts. CustomInk was very helpful and understanding. We got our shirts the day before the race, just as they promised and they looked great!! We got compliments from everyone at the race! "

"Alyssa is an 11 year old girl with type 1 diabetes (Juvenile Diabetes). Each year we walk in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk to Cure Diabetes. On April 2nd in Baltimore Maryland we walked and our team raised $4,000. This is the second year that CustomInk made our shirts.
