"For 2 days 8 amazing women walked 39.3 miles as 1 in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. Our team, Boo Bees, raised $23,918 of lifesaving funds. We were joined by 2,500 other walkers, including 228 breast cancer survivors. Together we raised awareness and 5.8 million dollars to advance access to care and finding a cure for breast cancer! "We entered the local Breast Cancer 5k and designed shirts with the USCG Logo on back in "breast cancer" pink. The color really popped off the black shirt and it was special because we were one of the only teams with black shirts so we stood out even more!!
