Relay for Life Walk - June 14th 2013"
"A group of women - all alumni from Blackburn College - gathered to celebrate our friend Ellen (last row on the far right). A year ago, Ellen was diagnosed with Stage 4 Terminal Cancer. Today, she is cancer free and we celebrated by Zip Lining in Grafton, IL. We sailed above the tree tops and saw the Mississippi River in the distance. Another alum, Polly, designed these custom t-shirts for the day, picturing a woman jumping for joy against a background of layered print and paint - symbolizing the many layers we each have in our busy lives.
The staff at custom ink was exceptional in helping us put together this awesome design and get it to us in time for the event. You guys rock!"
"A couple of months ago... We found out that my cousin has cancer. My sisters and I thought it would be a great idea to get tshirts made to support her! My cousins lives overseas... Thousands of miles away... But this simple picture of her family in the USA lifted her spirits and brought joy to her face, knowing that we are there for her every step of the way! We will actually be traveling to visit her this coming week and have made tshirts for our family and friends to take with us. TEAM RANA!!"
"On June 1st, we participated in the Pancreatic Cancer Action Networks "PurpleStride Cleveland 2013" 5K run and 1.5 mile family walk on the shore of Lake Erie at Voinovich Park in Cleveland, OH. We lost the backbone to our family (our PopPop) in February to pancreatic cancer and lost his mother in 1977 to the same horrible disease. We planned on doing this walk when he became diagnosed hoping that he would join us...and after he left us, it became even more clear that we HAD to do this!
I am amazed with CustomInk and refuse to go anywhere else for shirts EVER again! It is very rare to find a company who care not only about people but the charities that those people care about as well, and for that we thank you! I have already started working on our shirts for next year! Thank you CustomInk!!!"
"We are at the Pancreatic Cancer Action Networks "PurpleStride Cleveland 2013", a 5K run & 1.5 mile family walk to help raise funds and awareness for Pancreatic Cancer. It was a wonderful, sunny day on the shores of Lake Erie at Voinovich Park on June 1st! It was an amazing time and a day that we will never forget. On February 6th, 2013, we lost the backbone to our family (our PopPop) to pancreatic cancer and 36 years prior to that we lost our Grandma Corabelle (PopPops mother) to the same horrible disease. Before he even passed, we had planned on doing this walk for him, hoping he could be there with us. When he passes, it became my mission to make this the best fundraiser we could.
And there was never a doubt where to get our shirts from for this walk...CustomInk! I had seen commercials but never ordered before but after I checked prices at local stores to compare, they wanted to charge (at least) $5 more per shirt! And after I ordered, I found out how quick and convenient it was, I am already planning our shirts for next year. Thank you for being a wonderful company who cares about charities and people! I have recommended everyone I know who needs to order shirts to CustomInk, in my opinion, there IS no other place! Can't wait for next year!"
"This picture was taken at a Purple Crush volleyball practice. The not so good image was taken when all the players and parents threw volleyballs in the air in a display of their spirit and their love of the sport.
GO PURPLE CRUSH!
This order was my second Purple Crush shirt order and my third overall. So far they've all been great. I'll definitely be back."
"The Dale City Lightning Track Club (DCTC) gathered to take this picture before the Tommie Smith Youth Invitational Track Meet in Washington, DC. DCTC is a track and field running club for boys and girls, ages 6 to 17 residing in the Prince William County, Northern Virginia area. Our program is designed to introduce kids of all abilities to sprinting, distance running and field events. DCTC offers youth a positive environment that is fun, competitive, social, and informative about the sport of track and field. DCTC encourage academic success and good sportsmanship. Our goal is to build a team environment that will support our youth emotionally and socially through their involvement in track and field. This season we’ve shown off our team shirts at every track event and embraced our team motto “Hard Work, Dedication… Go Lightning!!"
"On Saturday, January 19th, our fellow co-worker and dear friend Mira Band lost her battle to cancer. Many of us worked with Mira for a long time, some us only for a short time but no matter the length, if you had the pleasure of meeting her you would never forget her. What she didn't make up in stature she sure made up in personality. Mira lived life to the fullest.
So on June 1st 2013 our team "Miles for Mira" participated in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life to honor Mira and to support the American Cancer Society to help the fight to end cancer.
I'm proud to say that we were the top fundraisers of the event, raising almost $11,000! One of our team members walked 26 miles, myself and another colleague walked 20 miles. Everyone on the team did an excellent job of fundraising and Mira's family was touched by our efforts.
We proudly wore out tshirts during all of our fundraising activities and on the day of the Relay. We were recongnizable!
Thank you Custom Ink!"
"This is a picture of my daughter Brittany (in front). We sold tshirts from Custom ink as part of a fundraiser for the Crohn;'s & Colitis Foundation. Her classmates loved the shirts and bought every one. This contributed to Britt raising over $9000 towards finding a cure for Crohn's & Colitis.
