"This was yesterday, May 16, 2009, where members of a professional womens group walked to support two of our members who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, who others who are cancer survivors, and in memory of my mother who passed in 1988 from breast cancer. "This is a picture of my family at the 19th annual Susan G Komen Race for the Cure in Philadelphia, which took place on May 10, 2009. We were only 4 members of a 36 person team (all donning t-shirts from CustomInk!) honoring my father, Steve (the tall man with the sunglasses). My father is a male breast cancer survivor, and we felt that making these t-shirts for our team to wear at this year's race would make a statement and let people know that breast cancer is not only a disease effecting women, but that men can get it too!
