The Q Cousins Run Raleigh! by Albert Quisumbing - about 1 month ago

The Q Cousins Run Raleigh! T-Shirt Photo

"This is a picture of me (on the right) with my 3 cousins at the "Race 13.1 Midtown Raleigh Spring 2014" half marathon and 10K on June 7, 2014. We come from a family prone to diabetes. My cousins and I decided to adopt a healthy lifestyle to lose weight and keep our generation as diabetes-free as long as possible. This race was the first time we all ran together. It was a family reunion and a celebration of health! We hope to make this an annual event. The custom shirts were a hit at the race! People were cheering us on: "Go Cousins!" and commenting on our shirts all day (it also may have helped that we used NC State University's colors! :) CustomInk's design process on the website was so easy and the shirts came out great! They were a perfect way to commemorate this event. Thank you!"

We may not be fast, but at least our shirts "rocked"! "

Team Throck Get Your Rear In Gear 2014 T-Shirt Photo

"This shirt was created for the recent Get Your Rear in Gear event held on Saturday, March 1 in Raleigh, NC. Each year, a team of us run/walk in this race in honor of a dear friend, Morgan. On October 8, 2012, sweet Morgan lost her battle to colon cancer at the young age of 25. These shirts help us to remember her spirit and a life well lived. A big thank you to the CustomInk team for working with us each year to produce such inspiring shirts."

Tuffy's Team at the 10th Annual Krispy Kreme Challenge 2014 by Tuffy's Team - 6 months ago

Tuffy's Team At The 10th Annual Krispy Kreme Challenge 2014 T-Shirt Photo

"This was the 10th annual running of the Krispy Kreme Challenge in Raleigh, NC. This is the home of the Krispy Kreme Challenge. The run was started by 10 students at NC State University based on a dare and now has over 8,000 participants each year. The Challenge is to start running from the University's Bell Tower (pictured in the background), run 2.5 miles to the Krispy Kreme, eat one dozen glazed donuts, and run 2.5 miles back all in under one hour. You can also participate as a casual runner and just do the best you can. Money is raised in support of North Carolina Children's Hospital. This year $200,000 was raised. We decided to call our team, "Tuffy's Team" based on the nickname for our NC State University character mascot. We had three challengers competing, casual runners, and supporters as part of our team. Custom Ink was FANTASTIC in helping us create a custom design and the customer service was above and beyond expectations! The shirts were the perfect red (University color) and great quality...everyone was thrilled! We were very proud to run in our "Tuffy's Team" shirts!"

The Not Afraid Campaign supports breast cancer and Custom Ink! by Kim - about 1 year ago

The Not Afraid Campaign Supports Breast Cancer And Custom Ink! T-Shirt Photo

"This picture of my friends, my mother(middle), and me(right of my mother), was taken right before we began the Race for the Cure 5k in Raleigh North Carolina on June 8th 2013. My mother and other women in my extended family are breast cancer survivors. I have always been passionate about supporting the cause to fight breast cancer. One day I had an idea to create a campaign to help raise money to benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation. I started a fundraising team and recruited people to run in the Race for the Cure 5k. I also sold 60 tank tops to my family, friends, and classmates who weren't running but still wanted to support. Custom Ink did an amazing job on the printing! My design turned out better than I had imagined and I received them so quickly with plenty of time to hand them out before the race. The quality of the tank tops are amazing and they have received nothing but positive comments from all 60 people who now own one. I look forward to ordering my 2014 Not Afraid Campaign tank tops from Custom Ink next Summer!"
