"My husband, Russ Barney, was retiring ANDhaving a birthday AND there was a 5K run right in front of our home. We live across the street from a Forest Preserve BARN, which is the photo on the shirts. The kids (and grandkids) live in Anchorage, AK and Austin, TX. We are near Chicago, IL. It was great for a reunion! "My BFF Kathy retired from teaching after 35 years as an elementary teacher! When asked why she was retiring she would always say, "I want to spend more time with my 94 year old mother and my granddaughter in Minnesota." That's what spurred the idea for the shirts. I was only going to get shirts for her mother and granddaughter.... then one thing led to another and I ended up ordering one for the whole family.
