For Pete's Sake by Colleen Burke Allison - 22 days ago

Win For Pete's Sake T-Shirt Photo

"My father, Pete Burke, passed away suddenly in April. He lived at the beach in Brigantine, NJ, so we decided to have a seaside memorial/party for him in August. His 15 grandchildren, five children and over a hundred of his friends, neighbors and family attended the event. My dad was quite a philanthropist, and donated much of his time and business expertise to the LEAP Academy Charter School in Camden, NJ. After his passing, his workplace, friends and family started the Peter. J. Burke, Jr. Scholarship Fund at the charter school to help graduates fulfill their dream of going to college. We sold the shirts at my dad's memorial to raise money for the fund and to continue my his legacy. Hence, the motto on the shirt, "For Pete's Sake". Pictured in this photo are his grandchildren and great nieces and nephews. We took a few serious photos and then told them to be silly. It's much more fun to be silly, and their Pop-Pop would've loved it! The shirts were a huge hit. The process of designing them was simple and stress-free. We received them faster than I predicted. We plan to have this event each year to celebrate my dad's life. I will be designing a new shirt for each party, so we can continue raising money for the scholarship fund."

ACSEA Charity Basketball Game by Ada County Sheriff Employees' Association - 3 months ago

Acsea Charity Basketball Game T-Shirt Photo

"On June 7th we had a charity basketball game at Mountain View High School in Meridian Idaho to raise money for scholarships. We presented $7,000.00 to recipients of the scholarships at the half time of the basketball game this year. We invited NFL players to come and play a basketball game against some of our Sheriff Deputies. During time outs and half time we threw out shirts to the crowd and after the game the players autographed the shirts for the kids. Everyone had a great time and once again Custom Ink rocked it. The shirts were a very big hit. Thank you."

We run the 12k Bloosmday in Spokane, WA. Shown is one of our current scholarship recipients who raised the most money to help other young people. We enjoyed the ease of the CustomInk website, especially the opportunity to try out different ink colors on our fun logo. Customer service staff was friendly and personalbe over the phone - always a treat to visit with people excited about their jobs!"

Shipman Society At The University Of Michigan! T-Shirt Photo

"This photograph was taken at our last meeting in 2012. Right before finals week, the Shipman Society got together for snacks and bonding-- because we are a community of students that support each other through both the excitements and the stresses of college life! We are thrilled to have our new CustomInk t-shirts so we can show off our pride in our community when we walk around campus. We had an amazing experience working with CustomInk; the color turned out beautifully and our order arrived earlier than expected. Thank you, CustomInk! "

The proceeds from the benefit go to one senior boy and one senior girl at HAHS in the form of a memorial scholarship. The criteria for the scholarship is a student that displays Courage, Compassion, and Optimism throughout their high school experience. Stayin' Positive! T-Shirt Photo

"Our experience with CustomInk was incredible! Everyone was so friendly and our shirts really did rock. We host an event every year in memory of our brother/son who we lost at the early age of 24. The event benefits students of the schools that he attended in the form of scholarship dollars that are donated each year. CustomInk even went so far as to donate to our cause. We will forever be CustomInk customers ... Thank You!"
