"Our sorority, the Zeta Theta Chapter of Kappa Delta, hosted our annual "Taking Swings for Angels' Wings" softball tournament. Five teams competed this year in our 'wacky softball game'; some of the rules included bunny hopping to first base, throwing with your non-dominant hand, etc. Everyone had a lot of fun! All of the money we raised is going to our local philanthropy, Angels' Wings, a shelter for abused children waiting to be placed in foster care."
"On November 10, 2007,the sisters of NCM and SGRho along with the brothers of ATO participated in a charity event for Children's Miracle Network. Our group, along with another 100 students, stood on their feet for over 21 hours. At the end of it all we recieved word that not only had ATO raised more money than any other campus organization, but also that our Greek Week trio had won the competition for the first time ever.
