""North East Middle School" 6th-graders spent the week of October 4-8, 2010, at "NorthBay Adventure" (North East, MD). The camp's mission: Challenge middle school students to realize that their attitudes and actions have a lasting impact on their future, the environment and the people around them. As a parent chaperone and local orthodontist, I wanted to reward the girls in my cabin with a special gift; after a week of making new friends, facing challenges together, overcoming fears, enduring cold rainy days, learning new skills, practicing teamwork and developing a new appreciation for the environment... I wanted to give them a way to show-off their school spirit and accomplishments! Designing my shirts on CustomInk's website was a blast; the software program is simple and fun, making it really easy to be creative! My interactions with CustomInk were always pleasant and their specialists extremely helpful- even better, the order was finished within a week... arrived just in time to pack up for camp! The shirts are very high quality, with vibrant colors and thick, soft cotton- and they still look great after washing, without a hint of fading or shrinking. I will definately design shirts with CustomInk again... no doubt! I only have one regret... that I didn't order more! Think Pink Day by Primrose School of Fletcher Heights - over 2 years ago

"Primrose School of Fletcher Heights Supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month (Peoria, AZ) On Friday, October 8, 2010, Primrose School of Fletcher Heights’ teachers, families and students participated in an entire day of “Think Pink/Breast Cancer Awareness” Preschool and Kindergarten students dressed in pink, participated in a “Think Pink” walk around the playground recognizing the many survivors and loved ones lost to breast cancer. The students enjoyed pink activities throughout the day as they mixed colors to create pink, drank pink milk for lunch, made breast cancer ribbons for the walk and much more. Parents made donations to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, enjoyed pink doughnuts on the way to work, and sent us relatives, friends and family members’ names that could be posted on banner for our walk. Teachers wear “Think Pink” t-shirts throughout the month of October and make donations as well to the Cure. They plan activities for their students in a developmentally appropriate way as they bring awareness to their families and children in their classrooms. "

"The students voted for the first shirt of the year to be pink because real men wear pink and the seniors are "real men"! The students had a blast designing the shirts and they came out exactly as we hoped- pink and fun! On a scale from 1-10, THEY are an 11!"
