"For the last 4 years we have used Custom Ink to design our tees for Kaamilah's Krew. Kaamilah, my big sister, has been battling lupus since the age of 17 (~14 years). Also, last year we lost our Aunt to lupus. This year's walk was very special because we were not only celebrating Kaamilah our survivor BUT we were also walking in memory of our Aunt Frances. On October 20th, 2012, all 20-something of our team members including Kaamilah and our cousins (Aunt France's sons) finished the 3 mile walk to cure lupus. Gooooo Kaamilah's Krew!"
"A group of friends got together to support a guy named Jerry. Jerry was diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma back in August and has a hard fight ahead of him. He's a well respected guy in our community and is the dad of a girl in this picture (Marissa is in the middle on the bottom row). We ran the race together for Jerry to support his fight, and our friend, Marissa. My experience with CustomInk was a ten! "This was part of our group for the 1st Annual Jennifer K Smith Memorial Ride Against Cancer. It ended up being a cold day so the turnout was not as good as expected, but we all knew it was for a good cause. All money raised was donated to a local family of 5 where the mom has cancer and the dad just lost his job. Working with CustomInk was an awesome experience and I have raved to all my friends and family about what a great job and how customer service friendly you all were to work with. "My baby brother ran his first marathon in Chicago on October 7th of this year. We wanted to show our support by wearing matching T-shirts with his name on them....problem was we didn't know where to get them. "For the past 11 years, my dad (center) has competed in the New York Skate Marathon. When my sister and I were younger, he would have to go by himself. Once we started attending, we realized how important this was to my dad and decided that this was a perfect opportunity to show our support for one of the greatest guys we have ever known. The crowd of people in attendance grows each year, and he continues to be known as Captain Steve, with the world's loudest children at 7am. It's a title that we're proud of. Almost as proud of we are of him. This year, CustomInk made us look better than ever, and we really felt like a team. Rather than having thrown together, hand drawn tshirts, we were proudly flaunting our CustomInk tee's. Captain Steve was able to blade comfortably and we looked good supporting him. "This is a photo of several students that are proudly wearing their TEAM JACOB shirts to school. (It was even school picture day!) Jacob is a fellow student who is fighting cancer. As you can see by the photo that several of the student shaved their heads, in support of Jacob loosing his hair do to the chemo. We had to order 62 more shirts for those that did not get a chance to buy one of the first 150 that we ordered.
