"Ironman AZ is an endurance triathlon in Tempe, AZ. It consists of a 2.4 mile swim in the Tempe Town Lake, followed by a 112 mile bike ride in the desert, and ending with a 26.2 (marathon) run around the Tempe area with spectators galore. Lisa (Sully) Sullivan did the event and her crew cheered her on to the end after 12:24 minutes! It was a glorius day of stamina, determination and perseverence.
