"Henry Berryman's family owns a Pick-Your-Own farm in Surry, Virginia called College Run Farms. Each year, the farm orders a t-shirt from CustomInk for all of the farm employees and farm friends. "We had been planning for our family reunion for Thanksgiving 2011 since 2009! We gathered 4 generations- over 130 family members who live all over the country- into one small town in Virginia! "This pictures shows a few members of Team STABLM8 who participated in the Reston, Virginia Take Steps for Crohn's & Colitis Walk on October 16, 2011. Take Steps is CCFA's national evening walk and celebration and the nation's largest event dedicated to finding cures for digestive diseases, which affects over 1.4 million American adults and children.
What makes this event so special is that we (14 team members in total) walked in memory of Melissa Bealafeld Espinoza, wife, daughter, sister, and close friend, who was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis at the age of 8. For 28 years, Melissa lived with the everyday physical and mental pain and anxiety associated with the disease. She managed the disease with a variety of drugs and was hospitalized with serious flare-ups on numerous occasions.
In October 2009, a routine colonoscopy discovered that Melissa had precancerous lesions on her colon. At the same time, a mass was discovered in her liver that was later diagnosed as cholangiocarcinoma (cancer of the bile ducts). Melissa was courageous during her 11 month fight and never gave up hope for a cure.
Unfortunately, she lost her battle with the disease on September 29, 2010 - her 36th birthday.
These fabulous t-shirts were created and worn to honor her memory and to celebrate her life. We all miss her so much!"
"This is the after photo of the Tough Mudder Va '11 event. The event was held in Wintergreen, VA. It donates to the Wounded Warrior Project. Myself and a few fellows in this photo are in the Marine Corps. The day we ran this event was also significant to Marine Corps, because in October 23, 1983 in Beirut, Lebanon the Marine Barracks was bombed. My t-shirts paid tribute to that. I was highly impressed with CustomInk, the outcome of the t-shirts was astonishing. Running the ToughMudder we had so many good comments about it. CustomInk did an awesome job."

"My rural, little school district (Louisa County, VA) became famous when it was epicenter of the earthquake that occurred on August 23, 2011. Two of our six schools are now unusable and we were already in session. I created shirts to help remind us that we TRIUMPHED over that earthquake, and as a fundraiser for the many poeple who had severe damage to their homes. A bus driver for our school system purchased shirts for 4 of her passengers after sponsoring an essay contest about how the earthquake changed their lives and here are three of the winners with the bus driver, the superintendent of our schools, and the designer of the shirts (this pic was in our local paper). "
"My sister and I were a team of two at the Virginia Warrior Dash. We were dashing for "People Like Charlie" a group that honors my brother. "People Like Charlie" are just your average Joes trying to get through life without doing significant harm to either themselves or their fellow man. We were a little too muddy after the race to make out the logo on our shirts. CustomInk was a pleasure to work with and they will get our business again."

"This picture was taken after the DECA fundraiser 2011 kickball tournament on May 20th held at Lake Braddock Secondary School in Virginia. The team won the whole tournament going 6 and 1. The group of students were one out of only two 8th grade teams that entered against many upperclass high school teams. Their final game defeated a group of seniors for the title. I am very proud of their sportsmanship, effort, and desire to win."

"This is our group of participants in the Monument 10K in Richmond last weekend. The 10K was for the support of Cancer Research at VCU. We are a group of women who have been friends for between 25 and 30 years. We all set goals for ourselves for this event and achieved them. The most important goal that we share is staying close friends for life!
The front of the shirt lists each of our names in an unending circle (two of us are not pictured here) to represent the unending bond of our friendship. The girl in the martini glass represents the fun we have when we get together. The back of the shirt gives the date of the 10K and says, "I'd follow you anywhere!" That sums up our relationship to a "Tee"! We will definitely be using Custom Ink again. It was such a fantastic experience. I loved the online and live support I received during the creation of the shirt. The immediate updates on the progress of my order was so appreciated. I was also very impressed with the forethought to put the shirts in a waterproof bag before putting them in the box. "During this year's Susan G. Komen Richmond Race for the Cure, the VCU Medical Center was the 3rd Largest Corporate team. We had a lot of spirit and a lot of motivation as the team raised $7,396.39 for Breast Cancer research. This was our 4th year of having a corporate team and our participation grows each year. Custom Ink was awesome. It was so cool that they donated to this special cause."

"Here is our group photo in front of the Low Water Bridge in Front Royal, Virginia after a grueling 12 mile canoe trip down the Shenandoah River on Saturday, September 4, 2010. The weather was perfect! This was our third year doing this camping and canoe trip and our second year making shirts for it.
