"Team New York walks in Washington D.C. to support Breast Cancer research. The event raised over 5 Million dollars. The event took place in Washington D.C. on April 30th and May 1st, a two day walking event that started at the Washington Monument and ended 26 miles later in Chevy Chase, Maryland. We wanted to represent our home state NY while in D.C. Custom Ink helped to create this design and they came out beautifully. We we're proud to wear them and proud to walk and experience all that we did. Thank you Custom Ink for being a part of the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer."
"My twin sister, mom, dear friend and I walked 39 miles in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer held in Washington DC last weekend. We walked to honor our Mom and to remember a close friend. We will continue to walk until there is a cure for breast cancer so that men and women around the world will never have to endure the pain and suffering of the disease."
"My 67-year-old mom and I walked 40 miles this weekend for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in Washington DC - because every 3 minutes someone in the United States is diagnosed with breast cancer, and because every statistic is someone's best friend."
