Somehow my post got mangled Actually, the math is wrong The final anwser is correct (which is why many people seem to be arguing that it is correct), but the third line is wrong. Look at the two lines:-7i / -7 > -21u / -7i -21u / -7Implying(-7*2) / -7 > -21 / -7Implying2 > 3 (which of course is not true).Sub the same values in for the next line:i 2 < (3*1)Implying2 < 3 (which is true)This means that these statements are not equivalent, the last line cannot follow from the second-last.The final outcome of the algebra is correct, but every line along the way should be as well otherwise you've written an incorrect mathematical statement. The inequality should be flipped one line sooner, or the dividing by 7 and multiplying by -1 should be done in different steps.
