First of all, everyone I talked to on the phone and via email were very nice and helpful, and very friendly. I really liked the personal experience that you provided, and it is very obvious that your employees are trained well in customer service. However, I began my ordering experience earlier in the day on Wednesday July 21st. It went fine. I received an email back late that evening that the design that I had would not work with the product that we selected, after discussing on the phone that it would. I then called back (and the rep I worked with was now on vacation) indicating that we could do another jacket, which was fine, with the same design. I received either an email the next morning indicating that the new jacket I selected wouldn't work for personalization (which was part of the design) after the rep indicated that it would work this time. So, I called back and the next day and removed the personalization from the design, I was also told that I also just needed to provide written approval in my email saying that you could use our logo, and that was "all he needed". Then the next day or two I received an email indicating that my logo wouldn't work because of Boy Scouts of America trademarks. So, I responded back via phone and we worked through an option that removed the trademarked portions of the logo. I got a new design back the next day or two, with a logo that was nothing similar to what we discussed and what I wanted (it didn't fit with our branding at all). So, I called back (on Monday I believe) indicating what I wanted (once again) and she submitted it and the next day on Tuesday I got an email back indicating that that still wouldn't work. None of the several times I spoke with someone was it really explained to me why the modification to what I was requesting wouldn't work. So on Tuesday I finally asked to talk with a supervisor and eventually they transferred me to the design department or product approval department (or whatever it is called) and I got a good answer as to why none of what we were doing would work. So, then I created a new design that removed the logo in its entirety and just used text. Luckily they were still able to create it and get it to me by my short deadline of Friday/Saturday from that Wednesday when it was finalized. I am/was frustrated for two reasons. First of all, if I would have been told the first time that you couldn't use a BSA logo, I would have either gone with our usual vendor that we use for our camp store who is approved, or I would have just gone with a different design that didn't include the logo, and I wouldn't have had to waste exorbitant amounts of time going back and fourth almost countless times at this point. Because in the end I got a product that was good quality, but not really what I wanted as a gift to give our staff members (which was their purpose). Thanks for listening. Sincerely, Ryan K.
