"My Grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's 4 years ago. She and I are very close, so I was very touched when my friends and colleagues decided to form Team Wristband Nation and join me in the walk. We were able to raise $1,721.00 in a little less than 2 weeks. My Fiance and I designed these shirts, but CustomInk helped make them real. They also delivered it to us in a rush and on time. Furthermore, the shirts were originally purple - to signify Alzheimer's Awareness, but the Customer Service Rep I spoke to suggested on a white shirt instead. It's a good thing I listened! Because the design came out even better than expected (and it was cheaper)! Not only that - Jane, the Charity Outreach Coordinator, did what she probably does best - she reached out to me. Oh Kerry, I am sorry about your FIL. I too lost my Mom to Alzheimer's disease 4 years ago, and you are so right ..it is wioutht a doubt the MOST horrible experience an family can go through .I still have nightmares about the whole ordeal .it was terrible. I can't even talk about her wioutht crying .but I do try to remember all the WONDERFUL years with her, and it helps so much ..Next to Cancer ..my prayer is that they find a cure for Alzheimers.
