"Pi Day (3.14... get it?) is celebrated world-wide by mathematicians and all those who think pi is the most fascinating irrational number. In our celebration, Math Club decided to combine two of our passions; pi and pie into "Pi a Professor." Through coins and canned food, members voted for their favorite math professor to be pie'd on Pi Day. All proceeds were donated to the Oregon Food Bank and enough money was raised to feed 15 families for 4 days; the equivalent of 240 meals. "Every Christmas the Ritchie family visits Disney World. In 2007, our very good family friends, the Hoods, joined us there.
