"This photo was taken of the 2008 Boston Youth Crew at the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in May. We had 17 kids on the team, all of which wrote essays and were accepted on the team. As part of the requirement, they were to raise at least $500 each (for a total of $8500) and went on to raise over $23,000! They worked all weekend to support the thousands of walkers participating in the 2-day, 39.3 mile walk. They may be too young to walk, but they aren't too young to be affected by Breast Cancer." - http://www.avonwalk.org - Kelley (Jul 11, 2008)

WICKED AWESOME BOSTON YOUTH CREW! What an incredible opportunity for these young people to GIVE to others by participating in the first ever AVON Walk for Breast Cancer BOSTON Youth Crew 2008! The leadership of Nicky was wicked wonderful. The Boston Youth Crew worked hard and never complained - even in the pouring rain or having to wake up at 4:00am! WICKED AMAZING KIDS! I am so proud of all of them!
