Getting out of a playboat is way eiaesr than it looks. You have foot pedals that you use to push yourself up and into the straps. If you slide back more than an inch (easily done by relaxing your feet) the straps become quite loose. If your still worried, most straps do have quick releases. If not, you can buy a quick release clip similar to those used on ww rescue belts, cut the webbing in a good spot for the buckle and feed the webbing through.
