"My family and I attend the University of Florida, College of Health and Human Performance Alumni Tailgate Party for homecoming each year. One year, we happen to all wear blue shirts and ended up as the poster photo for the following year's event. It became a quest in our family to be able to do that again. This year we used our Custom Ink shirts to display the "Oh My!" slogan used by the voice of the Gators, Mick Hubert. Our friends have loved them so much, they want to order for themselves. Custom Ink was a great company to work with and even was understanding when I requested "Gator" blue and NOT "Tennessee" orange! Thank you!" - OhMyGators (Oct 30, 2009)

Strat. Good blog. I have been shy, anxious all my life, and was aware of it. I made myeslf fit in, but hey, in hs, u just have more guts back then. All my life has been, is this a day Im at ease, or not. Now believe it or not, inever smoked, did drugs in hs. My first pain pill was when I was 26, with the start of migraines that would last for days or weeks, sending me eventually to drs for a shot to knock me out to finally get rest. They gave me darvocet, and tell the truth, with a true migraine, a narcotic never touched it. I thank whoever invented the medication for migraines. Back to anxiety, I still have it, I take Xanax when needed, and have learned to work it out myeslf bf taking the Xanax. And yes, when I was abusing norcos, I abused the Xanax also. I have a differnt look and feel regarding my abusive ways, and that's the best gift I've ever given myeslf.

You know Doc lets get back to your Anxiety question . I think the User sets up a false potvisie situation most users start using when young and the stress of fitting in socially is greater so when they try drugs or alcohol for the first time it becomes the holy Grail of Social behavior it reduces the anxiety so they keep using and the cycle starts. Now fast forward X years when there lives have become unmanageable and they need to clean up and bang the anxiety kicks in in spades and they have no social skills for handling it because they never learned that skill set. That's one of the reasons A/A works so well it teaches social maturity through the 12 steps. Hell in my case even with two years of sobriety if I drink to much coffee my Addict starts yammering for a fix because I'm out of my so called comfort zone.
