Riding for a Cure for Diabetes

"My husband, Stephen Langkau, was a diabetic since he was 2 years old. Back then his parents were told it would be a miracle if he lived to see 30 and that most likely he would suffer complications such as a lower extremity amputation. Stephen passed away on February 7, 2017---2 days after his 66th birthday. Stephen was a nurse and dedicated his life to caring for others. He touched many lives over the years. His passion was cycling and he taught many about the sport and did all he could to see that people around him had a bicycle in good working order. The doctors attributed his daily cycling to be what maintained good vascular circulation which helped keep all of his limbs. Family & friends came together to support Stephen's son, niece & her friend in the ride for the cure by making donations and purchasing T shirts made by CustomInk. The team at CustomInk joined us in creating a great design and producing a vibrant, noticeable Tshirt which stood out in a crowd of thousands at the event. The shirt was so striking that once some family members saw them,we were able to sell the extras we bought. The team at CustomInk was with us in spirit during the event in that we proudly wore these attractive, high quality shirts that united as the team of Steve's Warriors.
