"On Sunday, September 22, 2013 Sheets, Paquette & Wu Dental Practice Team completed their First Annual 5K entitled The Komen Orange County Race for the Cure® to support research for the cure of Breast Cancer and to raise money to fund local mammograms to women in our community. Today everyone knows someone who has been touched by breast cancer and it is a very worthy cause. It was a gorgeous day in Newport Beach with blue skies. Assortments of shades of pink flowed through Fashion Island as the thirty of us both running and walking joined the crowds to fight against Breast Cancer! We enjoyed the great music of the bands playing on each street corner to the various and vibrant costumes worn by survivors and supporters. The beautiful displays of those who have lost their battle motivated each of us to continue to fight in the Race of the Cure. The Team raised $1,700 from the support of friends, family, employees and our loyal patients!
