"In keeping with our tradition of excellence, we designed our "red heart" shirts to depict our facility vision "Hands that serve...Hearts that care." We participated in the national efforts to "Walk to end Alzheimers" and raised over $8,000.00 dollars! The shirts were such a huge hit that families and other staff members are now asking for them. (The gentleman sitting on the ground is the 87 yr old husband of one of our residents.) He visits her twice a day and provides her love, encouragement and nourishment too! He was our team inspiration and top money producer for the event! On Fridays we host "dress down" day in our facilities and staff / family members proudly wear their red shirts with jeans. Our team had so much fun that day! To be able to support such a big cause was such an honor for me. I can't wait to do it again next time!!
