"Our family walks in the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk. This year it took place at Harper College in Palatine, Illinois on 9/11/11. We walk in memory of my Grandma Gen who passed away from Alzheimer's. CustomInk has EXCELLENT customer service/support; I love how the shipments arrive BEFORE the guaranteed date; love seeing the finished design before production; etc! "This photo was taken after the Memory walk for Alzheimer's in San Augustine, Texas. Our team was named Team Lollipop because my grandmother, Mattie B Ruth, loved lollipops. We buried her the day before the walk. This was a very emotional day for our entire family. Because of all the emotions our team won the Team Spirit Reward. If you are unaware of this disease, please visit the web site. There is no cure for this disease. "We ordered our t-shirts for the Memory Walk 2009, a walk to benefit the Alzheimer's Association. The walk took place at Keyspan Park in Brooklyn. The picture was taken on the stoop of my mom's house...how Brooklyn is that? Our team was the top fundraising team for the event. We like to think our shirts put us over the top..."
